A Weather Event in May has affected our apple crop. Please read the new info below:
Being a farmer means dealing with the weather, both good & bad.
Pick-Your-Own Apples is going to have a different twist this year due to a hail storm we experienced here in May. Our Pick-Your-Own Apples got dinged up and have blemishes from that short 10 minute storm. As a result we’re going to give you two choices with U-Pick this year if you’d like your family to experience it.
#1 Pick the apples as you always do –dings and all– for half-price and take them home and enjoy!
OR
#2 Enjoy the family experience of picking apples at NO CHARGE . Just bring your picked apples and put them in the apple cider bin and we’ll make cider with them later. JUST PLEASE DON’T THROW ANY APPLES ON THE GROUND because then they become unusable.
Pick-Your-Own Apples is ONLY AVAILABLE while the trees have fruit. And ONLY during the weekend events listed below. They often times get picked out before the end of the Pumpkin Festival season.
Pick-Your-Own Apples picking hours end 30 minutes before closing time at 4:30.
