This week we’re picking our Red Delicious–a sweet rich red favorite; Golden Delicious –a sweet & crisp yellow apple; Jonathan – a somewhat tart but crisp red apple; Fuji – a very sweet & crisp blush apple; and Gala – a crisp, juicy & very sweet red-ish apple, all are outstanding for both eating and cooking! ($4.00/qt<2lbs>|$8.00/half-peck<5lbs>|$15.00/peck<10lbs>|$22/half-bushel<21lbsand $2.00/lb) .

Each week we make fresh Apple Cider ($2.00/pint|$3.00/qt.|$5.00/half-gallon|$7.50/gallon).

New this week, we’ve also got Bartlett Pears ($4.50/qt.$9.00/2qt.$12.50/peck )– Bartletts are much more than just a canning pear, and besides eating them fresh, you can also enjoy their wonderful flavor and smooth texture in a range of dishes.

Fall decorative items are beginning to flow in as well – the greenhouse has a load of new, colorful Mums, dried Corn Stalks, Indian Corn, cute little Mini Pumpkins, Stackable Pumpkins, PIE Pumpkins, Blue Hubbard Pumpkins and, of course, Jack-o-Lantern Pumpkins. Decorative & Apple Gourds are available as well!.

The Concession Stand is open with Caramel Apples, Apple & Peach Fried Pies, Peach or Vanilla Ice Cream, Apple Cider Slushees, Apple BBQ sandwiches and much more! Come On!
